New camera body arrived this week, so I threw in a few memory cards and went down to the Downeast Cyclocross Championships on the Eastern Prom in Portland.   My part words to my wife were “I’ll be gone an hour.  Two tops.”

I pulled back into the driveway eight hours later.  And that’s only because I ran out of memory cards.  It was my first time shooting cyclocross and I had an absolute gas.

Today was the shakeout of some new gear. I planned to shoot for an hour, ended up staying for seven and running out of cards/batteries. But the new flash works well. #cbcx. (And if anyone knows these racers, feel free to tag them.)
